I arrived home officially on day 362. After leaving Colorado, I made a pit stop in Kansas City to grab a bite to eat with a college friend before continuing on to St. Louis. I hadn’t slept at all the night before so by the time I was arriving home, around 10:45 PM, I already felt like I was in a dream. The experience was surreal, as if I was walking into someone elses life, looking at their old clothes, walking through their old house. It feels a bit more normal after a couple days, still odd though.
I’ve been asked by a few people if I’ll have some kind of final thought or if this will be the final post and I don’t know. There is still a lot from the journey bouncing around my head that needs to be digested so piecing together a set of or a single final thought may take a while. So I can say at least there will be one more post.
And a few quick facts: 362 days, 30 countries, 110 cities, 1269 miles by boat, 2662 miles by car, 3427 miles by train, 15245 miles by motorcycle, 43610 miles by plane and countless number of friends that made the trip worth taking. Thank you everyone!
